You Won't Need a Towel for Your Air Shower |
| Elaine Jenkins January 11th 2012 |
You probably already figured that out – the fact that you never get wet in an air shower, which means there's no towel required when you get super clean (dust particulate-free) in a hard wall cleanroom or soft wall cleanroom air shower. You'll stay 'high and dry' because an air shower uses advanced technology airflow science to remove microscopic dust particles from personnel garb and cleanroom equipment. Nobody needs those teeny tiny dust particles getting into any type of cleanroom, particularly a portable cleanroom (otherwise known as a soft wall cleanroom). Not every soft wall cleanroom is 'portable' to the same extent. Unlike a hard wall cleanroom that is intended to offer a lifetime of service, a soft wall cleanroom is oftentimes designed to be removed in a matter of hours (as opposed to days or even weeks), while another soft wall cleanroom might serve its owners for years. What all of these cleanrooms require, however, is a high tech and super effective air shower at the point of entry and egress (which is where all the dirt from the outside world wants to get in). An air shower is the final and perhaps the most important layer of dust particulate infiltration protection, which is why we recommend an air shower for every hard wall cleanroom or soft wall cleanroom we sell. Is an Air Shower Really Necessary? Do You Really Need an Air Shower in a Hi-Tech, Hard Wall Cleanroom or Softwall Cleanroom? Some People Might Think that an Air Shower is OverkillA hard wall cleanroom or soft wall cleanroom can never be TOO clean. Of course an air shower is required for maximum dust particulate infiltration protection, and if you want to call that overkill, just ask the research or manufacturing technicians how much damage a single particle of dust can do in a cleanroom environment. No matter the application, an air shower is a must when you need maximum air quality in your hardwall cleanroom or soft wall cleanroom. People don't wear those 'moon suits' (if you will) in a soft wall cleanroom or hard wall cleanroom for nothing. Cleanroom garments are specifically designed to limit dust 'shedding' to near absolute zero, though, an air shower is designed as that final step in removing the slightest remnants of dust that may still have found its way onto personnel garb or equipment that enters or exits any cleanroom. Is an Air Shower Going to Demolish Your Hard Wall Cleanroom Budget? Will an Air Shower Put Your Soft Wall Cleanroom Out of Your Financial Reach? No and no – those are the answers to the questions above. An air shower is perfectly affordable, which means your hard wall cleanroom or soft wall cleanroom will still be affordable for your research or manufacturing needs. We know you have lots of air shower questions and we have the answers. This is why you need to contact us about your new air shower today! |
