Pass-Thru Cabinets

CleanZones, LLC offers our Pass-Through Cabinets as a means to transfer product to and from the cleanroom, minimize cross contamination from opening doors, and eliminate entry and exit by cleanroom personnel.

PASS-THROUGH CABINETS PTW SERIES

We offer the Pass-Through Cabinet PTW Series that are designed to be mounted in the wall of the cleanroom.  These units enable finished drug solutions, parts, tools and other work items to be passed to the cleanroom or pharmacy preparation room.  The PTW acts as an air lock device preventing ambient air from entering, or clean air from exiting the cleanroom.  The mechanical interlock prevents both doors from being opened at the same time, thus preventing airborne contaminates from entering the room or pressure loss within the cleanroom.  Electrical Interlocks are also available.

Features of our Pass-Through Cabinet

• Standard construction is Wood board with plastic laminate exterior.  Corrosive Resistant Polypropylene, Epoxy Painted Steel, 304 or 316L Stainless Steel units are also available.
• Flame polished 3/8” thick clear doors.
• Continuous stainless steel piano hinge.
• Heavy Duty 1/4 Turn chrome plated latching handles.
• Mitered anodized aluminum trim molding to frame out opening. 
• Closed cell gasket around door opening

CART PASS-THROUGH CABINETS CPTW SERIES

We offer the Cart Pass-Through Cabinet CPTW Series that are designed to be mounted on the floor.  These units are for moving larger items or larger quantities of product in and out of the cleanroom.  These units do not have floors, thereby allowing carts to easily roll in and out of the cleanroom.  The mechanical interlock prevents both doors from being opened at the same time, thus preventing airborne contaminates from entering the room or pressure loss within the cleanroom.  Electrical Interlocks are also available.

• Standard construction is Wood board with plastic laminate exterior.  Corrosive Resistant Polypropylene, Epoxy Painted Steel, 304 or 316L Stainless Steel units are also available.
• Clear Satin Anodized Aluminum Framed doors with push/pull handles and clear acrylic inserts.
• Hydraulic “stay open” door closures.
• Side wall bumpers.
• Mitered anodized aluminum trim molding to frame out opening. 
• Closed cell gasket around door opening.
